Vellappally Natesan says LDF, UDF haunting him

Alappuzha: Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam general secretary Vellapally Natesan has said that the UDF and LDF are haunting him after he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.

“A multi-pronged political conspiracy is at work behind all the recent allegations levelled against me. There is a planned attempt to demean me. What is wrong in meeting the Prime Minister of the country? I do not understand why only I am being haunted,” Vellapally said while talking to the media at Alappuzha Press Club here on Saturday.

“Certain people anticipate a “tsunami,” if we united. That is why this organized attack. Nobody cites communalism in Muslim League or Kerala Congress. Then why just the BJP? Now both the Fronts offer seats to the SNDP workers after we announced the outfit’s Kerala Yatra. Casteism grows when people are denied justice,” he said.

Vellapally asked the media to not victimize him to create sensational news. “Allegations give me strength. I was not born in a penniless family. Those who raise allegations over my wealth should also face investigation in to the source of their fortunes,” the Ezhava leader said.

He refused to answer more questions related to the allegations over the microfinance scheme of the SNDP.
