Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy turned 72 on Saturday.

He made a quiet visit to a church and soon after that sped away to lead the ongoing local body poll campaign in two central districts of the state.

Over the years, Chandy's only personal activity on his birthday is his customary visit to the church with his immediate family members.
