Rahul Easwar attacked for not supporting beef festival

Kayamkulam: Rahul Easwar was attacked by a group of students at a college in Kayamkulam on Thursday over his pro-beef ban remarks.

The incident occurred at Milad-E-Sherief Memorial (MSM) College where Rahul was invited as a guest speaker on cyber security.

As he went towards his car after his address, a group of people, comprising students and possibly outsiders, smashed his car and shouted slogans against him, asking him to take his comments on beef back.

Easwar later tweeted, "I am shocked and scared...can one not live in Kerala without supporting Beef Festival??" Another tweet with a photo of his damaged car read: "Attack on me & Car got smashed...raising slogans for Beef Festival in Kerala. DYSP Police registers FIR."
