Palakkad: Renowned Mohiniyattam dancer Kalamandalam Satyabhama passed away on Sunday. She was 77.
She breathed her last at a private hospital in Ottapalam in the wee hours of Sunday. She was undergoing treatment for bowel-related ailments.
The Nruthya Natya Puraskaram of the Government of Kerala was first awarded to Satyabhama in 2005.
Her mortal remains will be laid to rest at her native place in Shoranur Sunday evening.
