Bengaluru: A key witness in the Bengaluru blast case turned hostile in the NIA trial court on Tuesday.

Rafeeq, a native of Kudagu in Karnataka, reportedly said that he gave the statement against Ma’dani in the case due to pressure from the police.

Jose Varghese, another witness, had earlier turned hostile, saying that his testimony was forged by the police.

Ma’dani was arrested on Aug 17, 2010, in connection with the conspiracy in serial bomb blast case.
