Passengers protest at T’puram airport as Dubai flight delayed indefinitely

Thiruvananthapuram: Passengers are protesting at the Thiruvananthapuram International airport after a Dubai-bound flight scheduled to take off in the early morning delayed indefinitely.

The passengers said they had boarded the plane at 4.30 am, but were asked to exit. They were told that a technical problem had occurred and they could travel on the plane that would take off at 10.30 am.

However, the authorities failed to make further arrangements in this regard following which the passengers blocked another plane at the airport.

Many of them also missed their connection plane from Dubai. They also alleged that they were not provided food and water.
