Riyadh: Two more pilgrims hailing from Kerala have been confirmed dead in Thursday's stampede in Mina valley near Makkah in Saudi Arabia.

The deceased have been identified as Sulfiqar (33), a native of Chithara and Sajeeb Habeeb, hailing from Punaloor in Kollam district.

With this, the toll of victims from Kerala in the stampede rose to four.

Eleven Hajj pilgrims from Kerala have reportedly been missing in Mina following the stampede.

At least 717 people have been confirmed dead in Thursday's stampede, the worst tragedy to hit the world's holiest Muslim pilgrimage in 25 years, while over 800 are injured.
