Alappuzha: BJP leader V.V Rajesh Friday has threatened the police officials, saying that they will have to face the consequences if there is no action against those who had attacked the BJP workers.
His comments came in the wake of the police action against the BJP activists in connection with the BJP-CPI(M) clashes.
“If there is no action against the CPI(M) activists who attacked the BJP workers, the police officials will have to face the consequences,” Rajesh said at a public function here.
“They will have to face the consequences even after the retirement,” the BJP leader said.
“The police official had to face the consequences when they turned against the BJP activists earlier,” he added.
