Thiruvananthapuram: The Principal Sessions Court Friday found accused guilty in the Attingal double murder case.

Anushanthi (32) and Nino Mathew (40) were found guilty by judge V.Shersi.

The court will pronounce the quantum of punishment tomorrow.

The case pertains to the murder of a 57-year-old woman, Omana, and her four-year-old granddaughter, Saswathika, at their house at Attingal on April 16, 2014.

The murder was related to the alleged extramarital affair between Omana’s daughter-in-law, Anushanthi, a Technopark employee, and her colleague, Nino Mathew.
