Panavally: Adivasi leader C.K Janu, who is the NDA candidate from Sultan Bathery constituency in Wayanad, has received a threat to her life.
A letter addressed by CPI-M Kodiyeri Tiger Force has reportedly warned her not to contest from Sultan Bathery in the Assembly election.
A case has been registered in connection with the incident.
Janu on April 6 had announced the formation of a new political party which would be part of the BJP-led alliance and fight the upcoming assembly polls.
Announcing the name of her party as the Janandhipathiya Rashtriya Sabha, Janu hinted that she will be contesting the assembly polls from Sultan Bathery constituency in Wayanad district.
"The party will consist of tribal people and others," Janu said.
