Thiruvananthapuram: The state cabinet has decided to enhance the monthly bonus calculation ceiling of its employees from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 21,000 per month.

As per the revised norms, the employees who are being paid up to Rs 21,000 will be eligible for bonus of Rs 3,500.

The cabinet, however, decided to keep the festival allowance of Rs 2,400 unchanged.

It has also decided to increase the festival allowance of anganawadi workers from Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,100.
