Quotation case: Congress leader Antony Ashanparambil surrenders before police

Kochi: Maradu municipal vice-chairman Antony Ashanparambil, an accused in the Maradu quotation case, surrendered before the police on Tuesday.

He surrendered after his anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the Kerala High Court.

He was absconding for quite some time.

The court had directed him to surrender before the investigating official within a week.

Co-accused Jinson Peter has also surrendered.

Antony told reporters that allegations against me were politically motivated.
