Elderly couple found dead in Shoranur

Palakkad: An elderly couple was found dead at their residence in Shoranur on Monday morning.

The deceased were identified as Gopalakrishna Warrier (86) and his wife Thankamani (84) of Sreeragam Varyam.

The woman was found with her throat slit and her husband died of poisoning, said police who arrived after neighbours informed them of the incident.
