MB Rajesh MP gets threat calls over Facebook post on JNU issue

Palakkad: CPI-M MP from Palakkad, MB Rajesh, has claimed to have received threat calls over his Facebook posts supporting JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar, who was arrested in a sedition case over an event at the varsity's campus against hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.

Rajesh said he first got calls on his mobile phone around midnight.

The caller abused his parents and threatened him not to involve in the JNU issue. The caller started making calls on his landline number after he switched off his mobile phone.

It is suspected that the calls were made from within Kerala.
