Jacob Thomas flays Govt for ordering probe against Sukeshan

Kochi: DGP Jacob Thomas Sunday has again come out against the government for ordering a crime branch probe against Vigilance SP R. Sukeshan.

“If there are any lapses in the investigation, it is the court which has to take action,” Jacob Thomas told reporters.

“The bar case is being heard by the court and it will examine all issues. It will take an appropriate decision on this. Unwanted actions and unreasonable moves will only demoralise the probe officer. Such move will weaken the spirit of the police force,” he said.

The state government recently had ordered a crime branch probe to check if there was any collusion between vigilance SP R Sukesan and hotelier Biju Ramesh.
