Kozhikode: Thirty Sabarimala pilgrims were Monday injured, four of them seriously, when a bus from Karnataka overturned on the NH-7 near Kakancherry in Malappuram district, police said.

The accident occurred around 9.00 am when the driver of the bus, carrying more than 50 pilgrims belonging to Bannerghatta near Bengaluru, lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve, police said.

They were returning from the hill shrine after darshan.
