The police used pepper spray to disperse the crowd.

The DYFI activists also protested with black flags in front of Kozhikode Guest House.

The Chief Minister faced protests from SFI activists at Calicut University. He was at the University to attend a programme.

Kicking up a political storm on Wednesday, Solar scam accused Saritha Nair, who appeared before the justice Sivarajan commission at Kochi, trained her guns against the CM and his senior cabinet colleague and power minister, Aryadan Muhammed.
