Kochi: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Power Minister Aryadan Muhammed got a reprieve on Friday when the High Court put on hold the lower court directive to register case against them based on the revelations of solar scam accused Saritha S Nair.
Chandy and Aryadan Muhammed had earlier the day moved appeals in the High Court seeking quashing of the vigilance court directive.
On the petitions, the High Court bench of Justice T. Ubaid not only suspended the Thrissur vigilance court order for two months but also pointed out that the lower court appeared to be in a hurry.
