Thiruvananthapuram: Police Monday registered a case against Congress MP Kodikunnil Suresh for allegedly tresspassing into the house of a couple at Kanaka Nagar area in the city in connection with a property dispute.
The matter relates to an incident yesterday when the MP went to the house of his niece to settle a property dispute between her and her neighbours.
Police had registered a case against the couple for allegedly attacking Suresh, who suffered a minor injury on his lips.
Based on a complaint filed by the couple, a case on charges of trespassing into the house was registered against Suresh today, police said.
