Thiruvananthapuram: The Vigilance court Tuesday directed the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau to submit report in the probe into the Titanium case in two months.

When the case came up for hearing, the court rejected the Vigilance’s request seeking four more months to complete the investigation.

The Vigilance prosecutor told the court that the probe was progressing and that FIR was registered against six persons in connection with the case.

The prosecutor further said that important documents were recovered in an inspection led by the Vigilance Director the other day.

The case pertains to the allegation that there was corruption to the tune of Rs 256 crore in installing a pollution control plant in the Travancore Titanium factory in Thiruvananthapuram in 2005.
