Anju Bobby George accuses E P Jayarajan of harsh behaviour, minister denies

Thiruvananthapuram: Olympian Anju Bobby George, who at present is the president of the State Sports Council, on Thursday accused Sports Minister E P Jayarajan of harsh behaviour when met the minister with other members of the Council.

In a complaint submitted to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Anju alleged that the Jayarajan talked to her in a harsh tone saying the Sports Council was full of corrupts.

The minister, however, denied the charge and said the Sportsperson left happily after meeting him.

Anju met Jayarajan, who was named the Sports Minister of the State recently, with Sports Council Vice President T K Ibrahim Kutty.

Talking to the media later, Anju expressed her displeasure and said sportspersons had no politics.
