Malappuram: Two people were killed and twenty others sustained injuries when a chicken laden lorry collided with a state transport corporation bus at Pandikkad in Malappuram on Wednesday.
The deceased were the driver and cleaner of the lorry.
Police said the mishap occurred when the lorry driver lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the bus at around 3.00 a.m.
The lorry was proceeding from Mannarkad in Malappuram district to Kannur and the bus was going to Bangalore from Pala near Kottayam.
The injured have been hospitalised.
