Chengannur murder case: victim’s head, body parts recovered

Changanassery: The police team probing the sensational Chengannur murder case Monday recovered more mangled body parts, including victim’s head.

While the severed head was found in Chingavanam, the body parts were recovered from an area near Changanassery bypass.

On Sunday, a severed hand suspected to be that of the deceased had been recovered from the Pamba River.

It was Saturday the police had taken Sherin John, a software engineer at Technopark, on charges of shooting to death his father Joyi V John.

Joyi John of Uzhathil House, Vazhar Mangalam, an NRI, and his son Sherin had been missing since Wednesday. The police started an inquiry after Joyi’s wife Mariyamma filed a man missing complaint on Thursday.
