Thrissur: Train traffic in the Thrissur-Shornur route here was affected for some hours as a huge tree fell on the track near Wadakkancherry in the district in the wee hours of Saturday.
The uprooted tree fell on the rail track at around 2.30 a.m, railway sources said.
The rail service was restored by 7.30 a.m after removing the tree, the sources said.
