Visuals of Maoists killed in encounter out

Malappuram: MediaOne TV has accessed the first visuals of two Maoists, who were killed in an alleged encounter with the police inside the Nilambur forests on Thursday.

The visuals show that the two are lying dead on the ground. They wore the Maoist uniform.

On Thursday, two Maoists were killed in a gunfight with the Kerala Police in the Paduka forest range of Nilambur in Malappuram district.

Police sources identified the dead as Koppam Devarajan, CPI (Maoist) central committee member, and Ajita, aka Kaveri.

Mobile phones, i-pad, a devise used for the wi-fi connection, books, pamphlets, guns and maps were seized by the police from their camp.
