No amendment will be allowed in Sharia laws: Kanthapuram

Kozhikode: Sunni AP fraction leader Kanthapuram A.P. Aboobacker Musliar has said no amendment will be allowed in the Sharia laws.

“The Sharia laws are perennial and practical,” said Kanthapuram in his inaugural address at a Shariat meet organised by the Kerala Muslim Jamaat on Thursday.

“The Shariat is the law of the Allah. The entire life of a faithful is connected to Shariat. It can’t be changed through a survey or amendment of laws,” he said.
