DGP orders probe into moral policing by Pink Police

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala DGP LoknathBehra has ordered a probe into the incident where, the Pink Police misbehaved with a boy and girl while they were sitting at the premises of Kanakakunnu Palace, Thiruvananthapuram.

Investigation will be done under the auspices of Range IG Manoj Abraham.

In a preliminary investigation done under the commissioner, it was found that the City Police was not guilty.

The couples captured the video of Pink Police who asked them to come to police station if they were not married. The video which was uploaded through Facebook Live, went viral on social media.

Shortly after questioning, more police came and took the couple to Museum Police Station. They were released after the parents of the couple came to the police station.
