Kasargod: Yuva Morcha activists on Thursday waved black flags at Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in protest against the killing of a BJP worker at Dharmadam in Kannur district.

The Chief Minister was in the district to attend the programme of handing over 36 houses, built by using government funding, to the victims of Endosulfan.

Ezhuthan Santhosh, a 52-year-old BJP worker was stabbed to death Wednesday night. The attack took place when he was alone in his house at Andaloor in Dharmadam, Kannur. Santosh was rushed to a hospital but he died on the way.

The BJP has alleged that the killing was carried out by CPI-M cadres.
