Thiruvananthapuram: The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau has given a clean chit to ADGP (Prisons) R Sreelekha in its preliminary probe report over corruption charges against her.

The report said that Sreelekha, while holding the post of Transport Commissioner, had not misused the Road Safety Fund as alleged.

It, however, said that she had given undue importance to the construction of road leading to her residence.

The allegations against Sreelekha include diversion of the Road Safety Fund for renovation of the road leading to her house, modernisation of Palakkad RTO office in violation of rules, anomalies in AMVI, MVI transfers and using MVD’s vehicle and mobile phone even after quitting the post.
