Kannur: Six activists of CPI(M) were arrested on Saturday in connection with the murder of BJP activist Santosh in Kannur.
Midhun (26), Rohit (28), Prajul (25), Shameem (26), Ajesh (28) and Rijesh (26) were arrested by the police in the murder case.
BJP activist Santosh (52) was attacked in his house at Andaloor in Dharmadam in Kannur on January 19.
He died on the way to hospital. BJP had observed a hartal in the district as a mark of protest.
In another incident, a country made bomb was hurled at the RSS Karyalaya at nearby Thaliparamba in the district.
