KPCC President M M Hassan mocks LDF govt

Thiruvananthapuram: Interim KPCC president M M Hassan on Thursday mocked the LDF government saying that the State has witnessed only leaks ever since the Left came to power.
“There are only leaks and encroachments under the LDF government. Budget is leaked and SSLC question papers are leaked. Lands are grabbed in Munnar. Under Pinarayi Vijayan's government, governance and leakage have replaced governance and protests,” Hassan said.
“It was CPI-M veteran V S Achuthanandan who said party leaders S Rajendran and M M Mani are part of land mafia. It is the same VS who led ‘Munnar-operation’ in his tenure as the Chief Minister,” Hassan said.
The latest RTI reports show that the claims of Rajendran are wrong, he added in an apparent dig at the CPI-M Devikulam MLA.
Hassan took charge as the interim KPCC president earlier in the week after V M Sudheeran resigned on March 10, citing health grounds after completing three years in the post.
