Thiruvananthapuram: The State secured a pass percentage of 95.98 as the results for the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations were declared on Friday.

Last year, the pass percentage was slightly higher at 96.59%.

Announcing the details of the results at a press conference here, Education Minister Prof. C. Raveendranath said 95.98% students cleared the exam that was conducted in March this year.

Out of the 4,37,156 students, who passed the exam, 20,967 scored A-Plus grade. 1,174 schools recorded 100% result and out of which 405 are government-run schools. Students of TKMHSS Malappuram secured the most number of A-Plus in the exam.

Pathanamthitta district recorded the highest pass percentage while the lowest was registered by Wayanad.
