New Delhi: CPM leader VS Achuthanandan wrote to the party’s Central Committee demanding stronger action on a sexual assault complaint against the Shornur MLA, PK Sasi.
He asked the leadership to consider seriously the increasing sexual abuse complaints against higher-ups in the party.
In this letter, his second, VS expressed dissatisfaction over inclusion of PK Sasi in party programmes as well as letting him helm a march when the leader was still facing the allegation.
The veteran leader also wanted action against leaders who entrusted responsibilities to Sasi and those who shared stage with him.
