Modi and Shah cannot capture Kerala in 1000 years, Swami Agnivesh
text_fieldsThrissur: Swami Agnivesh on Tuesday said Modi, Amit Shah and Mohan Bhagawat wouldn’t be able to capture Kerala inhabited by people who consider Indian constitution as their moral code in thousand years.
He was speaking at the “ Janabhimana Sanghamam” organized by cultural activists for protecting the constitution in Thrissur.
The renaissance movement founded by Sri Narayanaguru , Ayyankali and others was in a new direction; and he wished the movement outspread to Ayodhya as well. Peace would be hard to come by without gender equality, he said.
Gender equality is non-negotiable in the present world order, and it's everyone’s duty to take a firm stand against gender discrimination, the swami said
“Even after the Apex court permitting entry into Sabarimala, I wonder why the women are protesting against their right granted to them to enter the hilly shrine? It is because they have internalised injustice in the patriarchal society," said Agnivesh.
