Calicut Speech: Sreedharan Pillai to stand by affidavit

Edappal: BJP State president P. S Sreedharan Pillai on Sunday said he was standing by the affidavit he submitted in the high court in connection with the controversial speech he had made at his party’s youth wing meeting in Calicut days ago.

Speaking at a reception meeting for his Save Sabarimala march at Edappal, he said he did not remember who had called him whether Tantri or his family members. Those who suspect it was tantri could investigate it. He also said believers’ frat would resist chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s Stalin style oppression of devotees.

Pillai alleged that K Muralidharan who was the KPCC president when Marad incident occurred has the antecedent of backstabbing when Hindus were murdered there.
