Thiruvanthapuram: DySP Harikumar, who was on the run after allegedly pushing Sanal Kumar(32) in front of a speeding car and thus killing him, was found dead at his residence in Kallamabalam in Thiruvanathapuram today morning.
His death comes amid calls for his arrest and the victim’s widow Viji staging a hunger strike for his arrest.
Police say Harikumar is found to have killed himself.
Meanwhile, Crime Branch was to submit a report today likely to be charging him with murder.
