Kozhikode: Author M. T Vasudevan Nair on Wednesday informed the court his unwillingness for mediatory talks over the movie script “Randamoozham”.

His advocate told the Kozhikode First Class Additional Munsiff Magistrate Court that the Jnapith winning author was not in for any mediatory talks.

Earlier, director Srikumar Menon had approached the court for settling the issue through mediation, since the pre-production works were afoot.

MT Vasuadevan Nair moved the court to get his script back from Sreekumar Menon and Earth and Air Films Private Limited.

As per the contract, the film should have been materialised in three years; the author however vainly waited four years.

The hyped 1,000 crore project would have actor Mohan Lal in the lead, alongside several leading stars of south India.

The script based on his acclaimed novel “Randamoozham” explores life of protagonist Bheem.

The movie, learnt to be produced by expat businessman BR Shetty, could be a multilingual project.

The court had temporarily barred Menon and Earth and Air Films Private Limited from using the script.

The court posted the hearing to November 13.
