Ma'adani's petition to visit Kerala: Court decision today
text_fieldsBengaluru: The NIA trial court will give its decision on Abdunnasar Ma'adani's petition for permission to visit his home town for two weeks and see his cancer-affected mother.
Ma'adani submitted his petition last Saturday in the special NIA court, which is hearing the Bengaluru blast case, on the grounds that the health condition of his mother Asma Beevi has deteriorated. He pleaded that one side of his mother has paralysesd and in view of this he be allowed to spend two weeks with her.
The prosecution opposed this demand through an affidavit, arguing that Ma'adani was using his mother's illness as a pretext to visit Kerala, and requested the court to reject it.
However, Ma'adani had supported his plea with the medical records to show her serious condition. The court heard the arguments on Tuesday and posted it for decision on Friday.
Last May, Ma'adani had visited his mother in Kerala with the permission of the court.
