Thiruvananthapuram: Amidst the snowballing MeToo campaign revelations, more recently about mediamen and film personages, now one has appeared against Malayalam movie actor, TV presenter and legislator from Kollam, Mukesh.

A casting director, Tess Joseph, came out with the allegation that 19 years ago, at the bidding of Mukesh, her room was moved to one close to Mukesh's during her stay for a shooting of a television programme. She also said that she was harassed by repeated phone calls.

Her room was changed at the request of Mukesh himself to the hotel. At that time, she was a member of the technical crew of the programme. After the room change, she informed her then boss, (currently Trinamul Congress MP) Derek Obrien who promptly solved the matter. She was flown out of the place by the very next flight for which she says she is thankful to Obrien.

In her tweet, Tess mentioned that she was the only woman member in a crew of men. She was staying in a room of a woman colleague. Tess also alleges that Le Meridien hotel colluded with those people. Tess has also posted Mukesh's photo with the tweet.

On his part, Mukesh has not so far been willing to comment about the woman's charge.
