Two youths hacked to death at Mundur

Thrissur: In a gruesome incident, two youths were hacked to death on Wednesday by a gang of ganja peddlers at Mundur here.

Police identified the deceased as Cristo, 25, of Mundathikkode, and Shyam, 24, of Mundoor .

The victims were run over by a pick-up van in which the assailant arrived and then they were attacked with sharp weapons. Both the youths died on the spot.

The police said the rivalry between two gangs led to the murders.
