Alathur: UDF candidate for Alathur Lok Sabha constituency, Ramya Hridas filed a complaint against LDF convener A Vijayaraghavan for his derogatory comments, to opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala and DGP.
Vijayaraghavan's comments are anti-woman and defamatory, Ramya says in the complaint citing the speeches he delivered in Kozhikode and Ponnani, and filed with Alathur DYSP.
DySP indicated that he would forward this complaint to police chiefs of Kozhikode and Malappuram districts.
Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala came out strongly against the the alleged anti-woman statement of Vijayaraghavan and demanded legal action against him.

Tirur DySP Biju Bhaskar will enquire into the derogatory statements of LDF Convener A Vijayaraghavan delivered against Ramya Haridas, UDF candidate of Alathur Lok Sbha constituency.
Ramya had lodged a complaint against Vijayaraghavan with Alathur DySP who in turn handed over the complaint to Malappuram SP, as the incident happened in Malappuram district. Malappuram SP then asked Tirur DySP to submit a report within two days.
