Muslim outfits vow to firght CAA

Malappuram: Various Muslim outfits met here, presided over by Muslim League State President Panakad Hyderali Shihab Thangal, on Sunday and decided to fight jointly the National Citizenship Act.

The meeting resolved to agitate till the bill is withdrawn. As a first step, a conference will be held on January 2 in Kochi to declare the agitation.

A sub-committee headed by K P A Majid has been appointed, said P K Kunjalikutty MP.

In order to spread the agitation at the national level, a meeting of Muslim outfits, secular organizations, and supporters of backward communities would be held in Delhi.

In the Satyagraha to be held in thiruvanthapuram on Monday, personalities from all walks of culture, religion and social front would participate.
