Five more nabbed in Periya murders

Kasaragod: Detectives on Thursday arrested five more persons in the murder of Youth Congress activists Kripesh and Sarath lal in Periya days ago. 

Those arrested K M Suresh, K Anilkumar, A Ashwin, Sreerag alias Kuttu and G Gijin make up the associates of the prime accused and expelled CPM local leader A Peethambaran, sources said.

In another development, Saji George, the owner of the vehicle allegedly used in to ferry the hit team, was remanded.
