Kochi: The story of gangster Ravi Pujari’s arrest in the West African nation of Senegal has been doing the rounds since Thursday.

In order to clear the rumors, Kerala police wrote a letter to the Interpol seeking confirmation of the arrest.

Pujari is the third accused in the shooting incident at actor Leena Maria Paul’s beauty parlour in Kochi,

In the letter, police sought the details of the arrest including for which case he was arrested and the time of the arrest.

Being the third accused in the beauty parlour-attack case, police want him in custody for questioning.

Police can initiate legal steps for his custody only after getting a confirmation of his arrest.
