Perunna: In a letter to PM Modi, NSS expressed gratitude to the Centre for implementing 10 per cent quota for the economically backward sections in the general category.

Narendra Modi proved that it takes justice and will to implement social justice for all sections, NSS general secretary Sukumaran Nair wrote.

Commending the Centre for its decision, the letter said 10 per cent reservation for backward sections in the general category was historic.

Taking a dig at UPA, the letter mentioned how a panel was formed to study economic reservation during UPA tenure without taking further step even after getting the report.

The letter to PM might snowball into sensitive Kerala politics just as election are nearing.
