Thiruvananthapuram: The police started a probe into the seizure of answer books of Kerala University at the house of one of the accused in the stabbing case at University College, Sivarenjith.

The police inspected the SFI leader’s house at Attukal on Sunday.

During the raid, police recovered a seal used by the Director of Physical Training, Kerala University, from the house.

The director, however, testified to the police that the original was in his possession at his office.

The question lingers about the source of the answer sheets and their use alongside the forged seal.

Some of the answer books were seen filled while a lot of them were blank, making it important a thorough criminal probe.

The seizure of university materials cast suspicion over public and academic exams; police are reportedly verifying how Shivarenjith got the first place in the PSC test for recruiting constables.
