C.O.T. Naseer murder attempt: Shamseer MLA to be quizzed

Thalassery: Police are all set to quiz A.N. Shamseer MLA in connection with C.O.T Naseer murder attempt case, reports say.
The probe team would question the MLA after the current Assembly session. Police identified the vehicle used in the crime as belonging to Shamseer’s brother. The lawmaker also uses this car.
Petti Santhosh, the sixth accused in the case, revealed to the police that N. K. Ragesh—former member of CPM Thalassery area committee and CPM Pulliyod West branch secretary—met him coming by this car as part of the conspiracy.
The twelfth accused N.K. Ragesh was a confidant of Shamseer’s. The meeting in the car took place in front of the Kinfra Park at Chonadam.
In the meeting, Ragesh allegedly urged Santhosh to give Naseer a payback. The final decision to attack Naseer was taken near the driving test ground at Kunduchira.
The probe team found out that Ragesh as frequently using this car.
Police collected details about the car registered in Ernakulum in the address of Shamseer’s house in Madapeedika.
Given this situation, police decided to quiz the lawmaker.
