Kannur: A 49-year-old expatriate businessman was found hanging in his house in Kottoli here on Tuesday.
Police identified the deceased as Sajan Parayil, managing director of Partha Builders, who spent 15 years in Nigeria in agri-business before returning to Kerala.
However, the general manager of Partha builders, K Sajeevan said Sajan was not used to “ red-tapism” in Kerala.
Sajan was in dejection after the municipality where he raised a 15-crore convention centre project, allegedly denied him of occupancy certificate.
