Kannur police to book the woman accused Binoy Kodiyeri of rape

Kannur: The Kannur district police may well be registering a case against the Mumabi-based woman, who accused Binoy Kodiyeri of raping her, on a petition filed by him.
The son of Communist Party of India (Marxist) State secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Binoy in a petition filed last month to the Inspector General of Police (Kannur Range) alleged that the woman had been blackmailing him.
The woman filed a complaint against Binoy Kodiyeri accusing him of cheating by luring her into a relationship on the promise of marriage. She claimed that she has an eight-year-old son by him.
The relationship she claimed to have started when she worked as a dancer in a bar hotel in Dubai in 2009.
Meanwhile, the woman reportedly sticks to her complaint against Binoy Kodiyeri.
