Alan and Thaha Moaists: states the police FIR

Kozhikkode:  The students who have been arrested and charged with UPA here in Pathirankav conceded to be Maoists, says the police FIR.

The duo after having arrested and taken to police station admitted during quiz to be Maoists. The police said that they collected evidences from the students’ homes substantiating their statements.

At the time of arrest police recovered from them a notice saying ‘ implement Madhav Gadgil report’, another notice urging people to come out against hunting of Maoists, notice announcing various political struggles, a writing in secret codes,  and also a book published by CPI Maoist central committee.

The police also had taken into custody the bike KL 10 AL 5691 they admitted to have driven, says the FIR.

Meanwhile, according to the police, Alan had been under police scanner since age 15.
